RON MILAM CONSULTING  

Ron Milam has 12 years of successful experience as a leader in the nonprofit sector.  Ron began his career working on policy issues for the Surface Transportation Policy Project, while also teaching bicycle safety for the LA Unified School District. He then founded the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition and served as its first Executive Director, growing the organization from an idea into a 1,000 member organization.  He later raised over $2.4 million for Enterprise Community Partners and the Future Leaders Institute Charter School. Ron has served on two Boards of Directors (Sustainable South Bronx and the Alliance for Biking and Walking) and participated in two leadership programs (Southern California Leadership Network’s Leadership Southern California and Coro’s Leadership New York).  Ron holds a B.S. in Planning, Public Policy and Management from the University of Oregon and resides in Los Angeles.
